Born and raised in NJ, Matt Perrone is a singer/songwriter with an eclectic writing style. With his pop-hook style and acoustic rock mentality, Matt Perrone is flipping today's music on its side. With influences ranging from Springsteen to Bret Michaels to Mellencamp, Matt Perrone appeals to all ages with a sound of his own. In 2006, he relocated to Charlotte, NC via Los Angeles.

January 31, 2012, Matt Perrone will be releasing his most ambitious CD to date. "Seasons" is a concept CD that tells the story of a man's ups and downs over the course of a year. With the help of Kickstarter, Perrone was able to work with some excellent musicians and producers including Brian Fechino of the Pat McGee Band. "Seasons" gives the listener songs such as "Fall Out of Love" and "Oh My Girl" which have Perrone's trademark sound while songs like "Through My Eyes" and "Must Be Me" show his growth. With lyrics that play the "what if" game, Matt Perrone writes in a manner that could be for anyone.
