The Visulite Theatre is located on the edge of Uptown Charlotte within 5 minutes
of both I-77 and I-85, in the heart of the historic Elizabeth Community.
Heading South on I-77
Take Exit 10B (Trade Street East) You will circle around the off ramp heading
east on Trade. Trade street turns into Elizabeth Ave.
Go approximately 2.3 miles and we are on the left just before the street dead
ends into Presbyterian Hospital.
Heading North on I-77
Take exit 10 (Trade Street East) Off ramp take right heading east on Trade.
Trade street turns into Elizabeth Ave .
Go approximately 2.3 miles and we are on the left just before the street dead
ends into Presbyterian Hospital.
The Evening Muse
3227 N. Davidson Street Charlotte, NC 28205
The Evening Muse is located in the NoDa Arts District in Historic North
Charlotte.
Heading South on I-77
From Uptown/Center City: Travel north on North Tryon Street
approximately 2 miles; turn right on 36th Street; travel 1/2 mile to
North Davidson Street.
From the University area: Take Highway 29/Tryon Street south
(towards uptown); turn left on 36th Street; travel 1/2 mile to North
Davidson Street.
From I-77: Take the I-77 exit to 277/Brookshire Freeway East
(exit 11 East/Downtown). You will also be fine if you take 277/John Belk
Freeway, since I-277 loops into I-77. Take the Davidson Street exit and
turn onto Davidson Street going north, away from downtown. Travel north
on N. Davidson Street approximately 2 miles; the Muse is at the
intersection of N. Davidson & 36th Street.
From I-85 North: Take the Sugar Creek exit and take a right
onto Sugar Creek Road. Continue about a mile to N. Tryon Street. Take a
right onto N. Tryon Street south (towards uptown); proceed about .5
miles on N. Tryon and turn left on 36th Street; travel 1/2 mile to North
Davidson Street.
From I-85 South: Take the Sugar Creek exit and take a left
onto Sugar Creek Road. Continue about a mile to N. Tryon Street. Take a
right onto N. Tryon Street south (towards uptown); proceed about .5
miles on N. Tryon and turn left on 36th Street; travel 1/2 mile to North
Davidson Street.
McGlohon Theatre
345 North College St Charlotte, NC 28202
The McGlohon Theatre at Spirit Square Center for Arts & Education seats
700 and is a showplace for local and national performances. Opened in
1980, this intimate space was the former First Baptist Church. With its
stained glass windows and Byzantine dome, this historically designated
space makes each event a unique experience.The McGlohon Theatre is
comprised of two levels: the Orchestra (stage) Level and the Balcony
Level.
Belk Theater
130 North Tryon St Charlotte, NC 28202
The Belk Theater is the largest venue in the North Carolina Blumenthal
Performing Arts Center, seating 2100 at its full-capacity configuration.
It features state-of-the-art equipment, production and support
capabilities and can host any event - from grand opera to rock to
corporate annual meetings and lectures. The theater is designed in a
contemporary European horseshoe arrangement for an intimate atmosphere
and world-class acoustics. The most distant seat is less than 135 feet
from the stage. A hallmark of the theater's design is some 2,400 "points
of light" in the audience chamber, part of a dazzling fiber optic
network with multi-color capabilities.
